Investment strategy

A dual-strategy approach: conviction, plus tactics.

The Fund employs a dual-strategy approach, allocating approximately 65% of capital to long-term core positions and 35% to short-term tactical trading.

Core portfolio

Long-Term, ~65% of Capital

The core portfolio targets small- and mid-capitalization securities in emerging, high-growth sectors where the Fund Managers identify asymmetric risk-reward profiles — companies with capped or quantifiable downside and disproportionate upside potential driven by structural industry tailwinds.

The Fund Managers focus on identifying sectors undergoing fundamental transformation — industries at an inflection point where technological, regulatory, or commercial catalysts are poised to unlock significant value.

Within those sectors, the Fund seeks out individual companies that are well-positioned to capture outsized market share, typically characterized by:

  • 01Proprietary technology or intellectual property
  • 02Strong partnerships with established industry participants
  • 03Identifiable near-term catalysts such as regulatory approvals, contract awards, or commercial milestones
  • 04Balance sheets sufficient to sustain operations through the pre-profitability phase

The Fund Managers’ approach is research-intensive. Each position is supported by extensive due diligence spanning industry dynamics, competitive positioning, financial fundamentals, management quality, and catalytic event timelines. The intent is to build a concentrated portfolio of high-conviction positions and hold them through the realization of their underlying thesis.

Areas of particular focus

01

Space infrastructure and direct-to-device satellite communications

02

Commercial aerospace and defense launch services

Phase IIIPivotal

03

Clinical-stage biopharmaceutical companies approaching pivotal regulatory milestones

These sectors share a common profile

01Large addressable markets
02High barriers to entry
03Capital-intensive development phases that suppress short-term valuations
04Binary catalysts that can drive rapid revaluation upon execution

Focus areas include, but are not limited to, those listed above.

Tactical trading

Short-Term, ~35% of Capital

The tactical sleeve targets short-duration trades in volatile small-capitalization securities exhibiting elevated daily volume and price movement.

The Fund Managers employ technical analysis, momentum indicators, and volume-pattern recognition to identify intraday and short-term opportunities. This strategy is designed to generate incremental returns independent of the core portfolio’s longer-term thesis-driven approach, and to take advantage of short-term market inefficiencies in less-followed segments of the market.
